Job Description: TOBERITE® Shotcrete Residential Pool
After their involvement with pre-commercialisation testing of TOBERITE®, Seels Technology approached Austral Shotcrete to identify a site where we could test our TOBERITE® shotcrete in a commercial setting. Austral presented a site which would truly test our belief that TOBERITE® provides overall strength gains, improved workability and superior finishing.
A new residential build at Beaumont, South Australia offers future owners an expansive home over four levels with a 10x4m pool overlooking views down the valley. Located on a steep slope the site presented some unique challenges from a design and engineering perspective. Situated on the third floor the suspended pool required extensive reinforcement to accommodate a cantilevered structure of 1.8m at the deepest level.
